As esteemed winemaker for Barwite Vineyards, Ros brings an unrivalled depth and breadth of expertise, expressed in the fine quality of our wines. Ros and her partner John, are integral to the Barwite team.

Timo Ploschke ~ VINEYARD MANAGER

has been involved in the wine industry since 1996. Early mentoring from Bill Christopherson has created a long standing commitment and passion for the industry. Involvement with many  nationally renowned brands including  Mount Prior, Boat O Craigo,  Strathewen Hills (Tribal Elder) and  Domain Chandon, ensures Barwite Vineyard is in safe hands and managed in a sustainable and quality focused manner.

Studying at Swinburne, Timo practiced his craft for over 10 years in Yarra Valley vineyards with involvement  in wine marketing and complimentary roles as a restaurant wine buyer and wine list developer. The challenge of being involved in Barwite's redevelopment in a horticultural sense was a great opportunity to move to the wonderful high country and along with wife Emily raise their boys Billy and Flynn in this wonderful part of Australia. Timo's judicious management has made an invaluable contribution to the sustainability of the vineyard and to increasing quality and yields.
